Celebrity chef Mario Batali on Friday stood before a Judge in the Boston Municipal Court, Central Division and a plea of not guilty was entered for him.
Batali is charged with indecent assault and battery in connection with a March 2017 incident at a restaurant in the Back Bay.
The victim alleges that Batali forcibly kissed and groped her, putting his arm around her then grabbed her breasts, grabbed her buttocks, put his hands between her legs and groped her groin area, and then began to kiss her face all without consent.
Batali was released on personal recognizance and is scheduled to be back in court on July 12.
