Woburn – Two New York men are expected to be arraigned in Woburn District Court following their alleged involvement in a coordinated series of residential break-ins across Middlesex County.

According to Middlesex District Attorney Marian Ryan, David Rondon-Castro, 26, and Yeison Ramirez-Garcia, 25, both of Queens, New York, are facing charges of conspiracy to commit residential break-ins. The charges stem from incidents reported in June and July of 2025 in the communities of Woburn, Wilmington, Burlington, and North Reading.

Prosecutors allege the defendants were part of a sophisticated operation that targeted Indian and East Asian households, resulting in the theft of hundreds of thousands of dollars in cash and jewelry. Investigators believe the group selected victims based on perceived cultural practices involving valuable heirlooms and gold.

Authorities sat the operation involved advanced planning and technology. Investigators allege the suspects used GPS tracking devices on victims’ vehicles, installed hidden cameras near homes, and deployed Wi-Fi jammers to disable security systems. Officials also noted disciplined communication practices intended to avoid detection.

Rondon-Castro and Ramirez-Garcia were arrested at that location and later transported to Massachusetts by the Middlesex Sheriff’s Office for arraignment.

A third suspect, Itan Dami Beltran, 26, of Bethlehem, Pennsylvania, was arrested separately in New York City and is expected to be brought to Massachusetts later this week to face similar charges.

The case remains under active investigation and is being prosecuted by Assistant District Attorney Michael Klunder.
