Worcester – A special birthday that came through in the best way possible for one local resident.
Emma was surprised on her 23rd birthday by her favorite police officer, Officer Tom Hastings, creating a moment she won’t soon forget.
The two met years ago while Officer Hastings was working at the Hanover Theatre, and have remained friends ever since.
Knowing how much the connection meant, Emma’s family arranged the surprise visit, and it couldn’t have gone better.
During the visit, Emma also had the opportunity to meet Paul Saucier, Chief of the Worcester Police Department, who presented her with official WPD challenge coins.
The department thanked Emma for stopping by and helping create a memorable and uplifting moment for everyone involved.
Moments like these highlight the strong bonds between officers and the communities they serve.
