On Thursday night at approximately 8:40 p.m., Worcester Police and Worcester Fire Department responded to 502 Park Ave at the intersection of Park Avenue and Maywood Street for a reported multi-vehicle crash.
Upon arrival, first responders found the vehicles involved had sustained significant damage. A male operating a Hyundai Elantra was transported to a local hospital with unknown injuries; his condition has not yet been released. The Elantra struck the corner of a building as a result of the collision.
A female operating a Nissan Altima was arrested at the scene for operating under the influence (OUI) after failing a field sobriety test. She was taken into custody by Worcester Police and is expected to face additional charges.
