East Brookfield – Stephen Bandilla, taken into custody and held on $100,000 cash bail, faces multiple charges.
On March 13, the East Brookfield Police Department, along with the Southern Worcester County Drug and Counter Crime Task Force, executed a search warrant at a residence on Dunn Brook Road in East Brookfield as part of an ongoing narcotics investigation.
The investigation focused on an individual suspected of distributing cocaine within the community and surrounding areas. During the search, officers recovered approximately 63 grams of suspected cocaine, several firearms believed to be unlawfully possessed, ammunition, and a large-capacity magazine. Authorities also seized roughly $36,000 in U.S. currency believed to be connected to illegal drug activity.
Regional Law Enforcement agencies, including Southbridge, Charlton, Dudley, and Douglas, assisted.
Bandilla faces charges including firearm-related offenses, possession of ammunition without proper licensing, possession of controlled substances, and trafficking in cocaine (36-100 grams).
This investigation remains ongoing. Bandilla is presumed innocent until proven guilty in a court of law.
