HARTFORD, Conn. — A kidnapping investigation led Hartford police straight to a fleeing crew, a loaded handgun, and a stash of illegal drugs in broad daylight, authorities said.
On January 28, 2026, members of the Hartford Police Auto Theft Unit and Violent Crimes Unit were alerted to a suspect vehicle connected to a kidnapping investigation earlier that day.
