The Women’s Lacrosse League [WLL] has released their schedule for their inaugural season coming this May, and it all begins in New England.

Opening weekend will take place in Rhode Island from Friday, May 15 to Sunday, May 17 at Centreville Bank Stadium in Pawtucket, about five mins outside of Providence. Centreville Bank Stadium is the home of Rhode Island FC.

The second stop in New England brings the WLL to Fairfield, CT, approximately an hour south of Hartford, the weekend of July 17 – 19. Games that weekend will be played at Rafferty Stadium on the campus of Fairfield University.

The season will remain in New England as the next set of games will be played in Boston the weekend of Friday, Aug. 7 to Sunday, Aug. 9, three weeks after Fairfield, with games being played at Harvard Stadium.

The league will also host an All-Star Weekend July 3-5, but the location of that has yet to be determined.

There are four teams in the WLL – the Boston Guard, New York Charging, Maryland Charm, and California Palms – with other stops including Long Island, San Diego, Chicago, and Baltimore.
