WARWICK — A Warwick woman was arrested Wednesday morning on multiple fraud-related charges following a joint investigation by the Rhode Island State Police and the Warwick Police Department.

On July 16, 2025, at approximately 10:01 a.m., troopers arrested 43-year-old Adesola Oremosu of 70 Sophia Drive, Warwick, on an affidavit and arrest warrant stemming from several financial and public assistance fraud allegations.

Oremosu faces the following charges:

  1. Obtaining money under false pretenses over $10,000
  2. Fraudulently obtaining public assistance checks over $500
  3. Fraudulent use of food stamps over $500
  4. Giving a false document to a public official

The arrest was the result of an investigation conducted by troopers assigned to the Scituate Barracks in collaboration with the Warwick Police Department.

Following her arrest, Oremosu was transported to the Rhode Island State Police Scituate Barracks for processing and later brought to the Sixth Division District Court for arraignment.
