A driver was killed and passenger injured in a fiery Tesla crash that closed the FDR Drive on the Upper East Side.
The Tesla driver was speeding northbound, struck a guardrail, and burst into flames around 3 a.m. near 71st Street. As a result, both occupants were ejected. For the vehicle

Witnesses say the driver of the Tesla was going over 120 (mph) on impact, and the two cars split in half and burst into flames. New York firefighters followed the tow truck to prevent other instances from happening.
