Boston Police on Thursday arrested Rayhan Melo Nunez, 18, of Hyde Park for Unlawful Possession of a Firearm, Unlawful Possession of a Large Capacity Feeding Device, Unlawful Possession of Ammunition, and Resisting Arrest.
While conducting a Firearms investigation, officers from the Youth Violence Strike Force observed Nunez, who was the target of their investigation, operating a motor vehicle in the area of Garfield Street and the Washington Street area.
Officers initiated a traffic stop and made contact with Nunez. After a struggle, officers were able to safely place the Nunez into handcuffs.
While conducting a pat frisk of the motor vehicle, officers recovered a loaded Glock 26 with fifteen rounds in the magazine and an illegal laser sight attachment.
