Rematch Time: Divisional Playoff Preview

NFL playoff action continues with a 4 game slate and 8 teams remaining. Action starts Saturday afternoon and ends Sunday night. The Kansas City Chiefs and Philadelphia Eagles will see their first playoff action this season as they both earned 1st round byes. Along with that there are still 3 NFC East Teams including the Eagles as the New York Giants, and the Dallas Cowboys. Fox Sports will be broadcasting both night games while NBC has Saturday afternoon and CBS has Sunday Afternoon.

Jacksonville Jaguars vs Kansas City Chiefs  Saturday 4:30 on NBC

The Jaguars are coming off a 27 point comeback against the Chargers. Now travel into Arrowhead once again to take on the Chiefs in what will be a rematch from week 10. Patrick Mahomes for the Chiefs hasn’t ever played a playoff road game. Kansas City is heavy favorites as the chiefs have made the AFC Championship the past 4 years. Working in the Jaguars favor is the impeccable Saturday record of Quarterback Trevor Lawrence has never lost on a Saturday in his life with the win last week and never losing in college or highschool, the Jaguars possibly upset the Chiefs.

New York Giants vs Philadelphia Eagles Saturday 8:15 on FOX

Philadelphia is coming in the winner of the previous 2 matchups vs New York. The Eagles will be back with Jalen Hurts who played in week 18 in a game where the Giants rested their starters. Now Hurts will see his first real action since Week 15 versus the Bears when he injured his shoulder. The Giants are coming off an upset win versus the Minnesota Vikings and look to make their first NFC Championship since 2011. The Eagles last made it in 2017.

Cincinnati Bengals vs Buffalo Bills Sunday 3:00 on CBS

In what was a matchup cut short by a tragedy in week 17. The Cincinnati Bengals instead of playing at home will be on the road this time since they are the 3 seed and Buffalo is the 2 seed. The Bengals are coming off a win versus the Ravens where the defense stepped up to secure the win. The Bills earlier that day also secured a win versus the Dolphins. The Bengals are looking for their second straight AFC Championship. While the Bills look for their first AFC Championship since 2021.

Dallas Cowboys vs San Francisco Sunday 6:30 on FOX

Dallas travels to Levi’s Stadium in the final game of the Divisional Round to play the 49ers. This will be the 9th matchup in the playoffs for the 2 teams. This record is held with the 49ers vs the Packers. But this matchup will be the renewal of a decades old playoff rivalry. The Cowboys are coming off a statement win versus the Buccaneers and look to make their first NFC Championship since 1995. The 49ers meanwhile after sweeping the season series versus the Seahawks look to make their second straight NFC Championship.
