The Grand Prix finally of Bellator MMA is all set with Raufeon Stots pulling off the victory Friday night against Danny Sabatello via split decision in the Bantamweight main event, in the other same weight eliminator clash Patchy Mix dispatched of the Russian Tiger Magomed Magomdov by submission in the second round. This leaves these two Bantamweight sensations to battle it out for all the marbles (money prize) and of course the world championship, the remaining two are set so Bellator just needs to set a date. Stots said in his post conference interview that if Mix is ready by February that since they are fresh and not hurt they can get it on that soon even though he stated afterwards that he should check with his team and family first before making a decision but that he is anxious to rumble for all the accolades and more.
In the co-main event American Champion Liz Carmouche whose signature smile always exhibits the rainbow colored pride flag took care of business against Brazilian #1contender Juliana Velasquez, this was the second time they saw each other in the cage with the win for Carmouche the last time they met amid some controversy. She would have none of that this time around by dispatching the Brazilian via second round submission, making a statement this time and leaving nothing to controversy.
In the remaining match on the main event card Middleweight Dalton Rosta beat Anthony Adams by unanimous decision, the preliminary card saw many upsets and soon enough you will hear about all these up and coming stars who on this night they pulled what many seemed to deem the impossible with their victories.
