Early Saturday morning, at about 3:58 AM, Vermont State Police responded to Halfway Brook Road in Brookfield, Vermont for a report of a male with a gunshot wound.
Vermont State Police confirmed, “The male was subsequently transported to UVM Medical Center for non-life threatening injuries.”
This incident is still under investigation, and Vermont State Police said no one is in custody.
