At the Mohegan Sun Arena Monday night 6,459 people came out to see UConn roll over Villanova as the Huskies walked away from this game with 40-70 win. Monday night’s win was also the 20th Big East championship for the Huskies who now look to win their 12th national title.
Evina Westbrook helped lead the way to Monday nights win with thirteen points, four rebounds and three assists.
Edwards had twelve points, Nelson-Ododa had 11 points while Fudd and Ducharme both had nine points.
Monday night was the tenth straight win for the Huskies who have been on a winning streak since February 11.
