7 People Arrested For DUI In Rhode Island Over The Weekend

Over the weekend, the Rhode Island State Police made seven DUI arrests. 

The individuals taken into custody include Jose Torres, 52, and David Chavez, 20, who were apprehended in Providence and charged with driving under the influence of intoxicating liquor and/or drugs with a BAC of .15 or greater. 

Additionally, Isaiah M. Diaz, 27, was arrested in Cranston and charged with driving under the influence of intoxicating liquor and/or drugs with a BAC of .10 – .15, as well as reckless driving. Michael Madera, 45, of Cranston, was charged with driving under the influence of intoxicating liquor and/or drugs – 1st offense/BAC unknown, and refusal to submit to a chemical test. 

Richard Vongkhamdy, 59, of Coventry, faced charges of driving under the influence of intoxicating liquor and/or drugs – 1st offense/BAC unknown and refusal to submit to a chemical test after being arrested in West Warwick. 

The following day, Socrates Acosta Bonilla, 42, of Providence, and Stephanie Lanoue, 37, of Woonsocket, were arrested on charges of driving under the influence of intoxicating liquor and/or drugs and refusal to submit to a chemical test.
