Traffic Advisory – Frank J. Wood Bridge In Maine Northbound Detour April 24th

On Wednesday, April 24th, the Maine Department of Transportation will be performing a bridge inspection of the Frank J. Wood Bridge. 

Travelers are advised that to seek an alternative route as the inspection work will impact traffic between 8:30 a.m. and 3:30 p.m. 

Southbound traffic moving from Topsham, Maine to Brunswick, Maine will be able to cross the bridge. 

Northbound traffic from Brunswick, Maine to Topsham, Maine will be detoured to the Topsham Bypass and Route 196. 

MaineDOT has said that in the event of bad weather, this work could shift to Thursday, April 25th or Friday, April 26th.
