Help Build the Future of Local News in New England
At NewsTalk New England, we believe local journalism isn’t just important — it’s essential. In a time when many communities are losing trusted, independent news sources, our mission is simple: deliver meaningful, accurate, and accessible news that informs, educates, and connects the people of Massachusetts and New England.
We are a nonprofit news organization powered entirely by volunteers — reporters, anchors, producers, videographers, photographers, editors, and civic-minded individuals who believe that good journalism strengthens democracy and empowers communities. Our volunteers come from many walks of life: experienced journalists, students, retirees, industry professionals, and everyday citizens who share a passion for public service.
Our Commitment:
To provide fair, independent coverage that holds institutions accountable and amplifies community voices.
To serve as a trusted public resource for news, information, and dialogue on the issues that matter most to New Englanders.
To offer opportunities for individuals to grow their skills, tell powerful stories, and make meaningful contributions to their communities.
