Wednesday night in men’s college basketball delivered everything — blowouts, overtime chaos, and scoring explosions from coast to coast as teams battled through the grind of March.
Iowa State Cyclones men’s basketball delivered the most brutal beatdown of the night, crushing Arizona State Sun Devils men’s basketball 91-42. Milan Momcilovic led the Cyclones with 21 points while Santiago Trouet scored 13 for Arizona State.
Louisville Cardinals men’s basketball slipped past SMU Mustangs men’s basketball 62-58 in a defensive battle. Ryan Conwell led Louisville with 16 points while Jaron Pierre Jr. had 17 for SMU.
Stony Brook Seawolves men’s basketball rolled to a 99-80 win over La Salle Explorers men’s basketball as Darryl Simmons II scored 21. Rob Dockery exploded for 33 points for La Salle.
Iowa Hawkeyes men’s basketball knocked off Maryland Terrapins men’s basketball 75-64 behind 19 points from Cooper Koch. Darius Adams scored 14 for Maryland.
NC State Wolfpack men’s basketball outran Pittsburgh Panthers men’s basketball 98-88 as Quadir Copeland dropped 24 points. Cameron Corhen led Pitt with 27.
Kentucky Wildcats men’s basketball held off LSU Tigers men’s basketball 87-82 with Otega Oweh scoring 23 points. Max Mackinnon had 28 for LSU.
Prairie View A&M Panthers men’s basketball edged Bethune–Cookman Wildcats men’s basketball 71-67 behind 30 points from Dontae Horne. Jakobi Heady scored 21 for Bethune-Cookman.
Loyola Chicago Ramblers men’s basketball beat Richmond Spiders men’s basketball 75-67 as Joshua Ola-Joseph scored 26. Aiden Argabright had 12 for Richmond.
Overtime drama struck in the Pac-12 showdown as Washington Huskies men’s basketball outlasted USC Trojans men’s basketball 83-79 (OT). Zoom Diallo scored 22 for Washington while Kam Woods led USC with 24.
UNLV Rebels men’s basketball slipped past Wyoming Cowboys men’s basketball 73-70 as Kimani Hamilton scored 23. Gavin Gores had 15 for Wyoming.
Auburn Tigers men’s basketball powered past Mississippi State Bulldogs men’s basketball 79-61. Kevin Overton led Auburn with 22 while Josh Hubbard scored 22 for Mississippi State.
Another overtime thriller saw UCF Knights men’s basketball edge Cincinnati Bearcats men’s basketball 66-65 (OT). Jamichael Stillwell scored 17 for UCF while Moustapha Thiam had 18 for Cincinnati.
Providence Friars men’s basketball defeated Butler Bulldogs men’s basketball 91-81 behind a 28-point performance from Stefan Vaaks. Michael Ajayi scored 21 for Butler.
Mercer Bears men’s basketball took down Stephen F. Austin Lumberjacks men’s basketball 76-59 as Javohn Garcia exploded for 31 points. Keon Thompson scored 18 for SFA.

One of the wildest finishes of the night saw Xavier Musketeers men’s basketball edge Marquette Golden Eagles men’s basketball 89-87. Jovan Milicevic scored 21 while Royce Parham led Marquette with 22.
Ole Miss Rebels men’s basketball beat Texas Longhorns men’s basketball 76-66 behind Malik Dia’s 23 points. Dailyn Swain scored 22 for Texas.
Lehigh Mountain Hawks men’s basketball defeated Boston University Terriers men’s basketball 74-60. Nasir Whitlock scored 18 while Ben Defty led BU with 21.
BYU Cougars men’s basketball crushed West Virginia Mountaineers men’s basketball 68-48 as AJ Dybantsa poured in 27 points. Honor Huff had 17 for West Virginia.
