Tupper Lake, N.Y – The New York State Police charged Robert G. Weeks, age 67, of Tupper Lake, with the following:

  • Menacing in the Second Degree
  • Criminal Possession of a Weapon in the Fourth Degree

on February 15, 2026.

At approximately 2153 hours, troopers responded to the area of Church Street in the Village of Tupper Lake following a report of menacing.

An investigation revealed that Mr. Weeks and the victim were involved in a verbal argument. During the altercation, Weeks allegedly brandished a knife and made threatening remarks toward the victim.

Troopers located Weeks and transported him to SP Tupper Lake for processing. He was later released on appearance tickets, returnable to the Village of Tupper Lake Court at a later date.

This investigation remains under review by State Police.

All suspects are presumed innocent until proven guilty in a court of law.
