BRIDGEPORT, Conn. — Bridgeport police are investigating a shooting that left one person injured Saturday night on the city’s East Side.
According to police, officers responded around 8 p.m. to a ShotSpotter activation in the 2200 block of East Main Street. Upon arrival, officers located one victim suffering from a gunshot wound.
The victim was transported to a hospital for treatment. The victim’s condition was not immediately available.
No arrests have been made as the investigation remains ongoing.
