On Wednesday, June 5th, 2024, Aziayh Scott, 23, of Hammond, Louisiana, was located and apprehended by Task Force members from the USMS, Eastern District of Louisiana, New Orleans Task Force.
Scott was arrested on a warrant issued from the State of Maine, charging him with Manslaughter in connection with the death of a 22 month-old Quayshawn Wilson in May in Maine.
On May 29th, Quayshawn Wilson was reported to be unresponsive in a Walmart parking lot. The following day, on May 30th, the Chief Medical Examiner in Augusta, Maine, ruled the cause of death was a homicide by blunt force trauma following an autopsy.
Scott, who is originally from Louisiana, had recently moved to Maine and was living with his girlfriend and the child in Owls Head, Maine.
