The Worcester Red Sox aren’t just keeping a partner. They’re doubling down on one that helped build the franchise from day one.
The WooSox announced they are extending their partnership with founding partner Fallon Health for three more years, locking the deal in through 2028. In a sports world where sponsorships flip faster than a bad bullpen arm, this one stays put—and expands.
Fallon Health will continue presenting Fallon Health Square at Gate A of Polar Park, but that’s just the start. Beginning in WooSox ’26, Fallon Health will sponsor every Americans with Disabilities Act accessible seating location throughout the ballpark – all 99 of them. From the main concourse to the Worcester Wall to the DCU Club seats, the message is unmistakable: accessibility isn’t a side note, it’s part of the building.
The partnership also adds a pair of “Silver Slugger” games to the 2026 schedule, set for Thursday, April 23, and Wednesday, Aug. 26. These games are designed to celebrate older adults across Central Massachusetts, spotlighting active lifestyles and staying connected through baseball. Not nostalgia. Not a token salute. A full-on acknowledgment that baseball doesn’t age out its fans.
This relationship didn’t start yesterday. Fallon Health became the WooSox’ first corporate sponsor back in September 2018, before a single pitch was thrown at Polar Park. Activations launched with the park’s opening in 2021 and quickly leaned into community-first initiatives that went beyond logos and signage.
That impact hasn’t been small.
“In the WooSox’ first five seasons in Worcester, our friends at Fallon Health went above and beyond to promote health and wellbeing, from providing free sunscreen for fans at WooSox games, to presenting opportunities for ‘Fallon Health’s Future Starters’ to meet their baseball heroes on ‘Fallon Health Sunday Fundays,’ to donating $250,000 to the Worcester County Food Bank through their ‘Strike Out Hunger’ campaign,” said Jack Verducci, the WooSox’ Executive Vice President of Corporate Partnerships & Ticket Sales. “Fallon Health’s commitment to the communities of Central Mass has been extraordinary, and we are thrilled to collaborate with their dedicated team for another three years.”
That’s not marketing fluff. That’s sunscreen on hot days. Kids meeting players. A quarter-million dollars fighting food insecurity. Real money. Real impact.
Fallon Health isn’t pretending this is just business either.
“We are thrilled to renew our partnership with the WooSox as a founding partner. This collaboration reflects our deep commitment to the Worcester community and our admiration for all the WooSox do to bring people together. As we take the next step in our relationship, we’re excited to create new benefits for fans and visitors that align with our mission—especially initiatives that support older adults. Together, we look forward to making an even greater impact,” said Manny Lopes, President and CEO of Fallon Health.
Polar Park opens its 2026 season on Friday, March 27, and this renewed partnership makes it clear what kind of ballpark the WooSox want it to be. One where access matters. Where community isn’t a buzzword. Where sponsors don’t just slap their name on a wall and disappear.
In a league obsessed with the next shiny deal, Worcester just kept one that works—and made it stronger.
