College Basketball Round-Up

UConn 68 – Georgetown 62

UConn, ranked 24th in the nation, picked up a win versus Georgetown behind 15 point performances from Adama Sanogo and Tristen Newton. While Georgetown’s highest scorer was Brandon Murray, who scored 21 on the day.

Davidson 93 – UMass Amherst 78

Davidson traveled to UMass and picked up a win behind 29 points from Conner Kochera. Foster Loyer contributed 19 as well for Davidson. For UMass, Matt Cross led the team with 28 points. 

NJIT 61 – UMass Lowell 90

UMass Lowell in a dominant home win improved to 19-6 behind leaders scorers Max Brooks (18 points), Everett Hamond (17 points), and Allin Blount (16 points). For NJIT, Adam Hess was the highest scorer with 11 points. 

Navy 86 – Holy Cross 68

The Navy traveled to Holy Cross and picked up a dominant win, which was led by a 35-point performance from Daniel Deaver, who also had 16 rebounds to go along with it. Gerrale Gates led Holy Cross with 19 points.

Brown 68 – Harvard 65

Brown, down the stretch, hit some key free throws to finish down the stretch and pull off the win. Their leading scorers were Paxson Wojcik, who had 23 points, along with Kino Lilly Jr., who had 21 points of his own. For Harvard, Chris Ledlum had a team high 13 points along with Idan Tretout, who chipped in 12.

Syracuse 77 – Boston College 68 

Syracuse picked up the win behind a 27-point performance from Jesse Edwards, Joseph Girard III chipped in 18 for Syracuse as well. For Boston College, Quinten Post scored 18 points along with 14 points from Jaeden Zackery.
