On Thursday, after receiving the results of an outside investigator’s findings, New London Mayor Michael Passero reinstated police chief Brian Wright.
Wright returned to his full duties as chief Thursday afternoon, a month after being placed on administrative leave pending the results of an internal investigation into a complaint made against him.
That outside investigator, Michael Rose, informed the city that, as defined by law, Wright did not sexually harass an unidentified person when he was a captain and that there was no evidence that Wright retaliated against that person through adverse findings in an unspecified investigation.
