There’s already a mask mandate in Worcester for municipal buildings. Now, beginning on Monday, the City of Worcester will impose a mask mandate for all indoor common spaces like supermarkets.
City Manager Ed Augustus said Worcester has seen 10 consecutive weeks with increasing counts of new cases.
Also, starting November 1, all city of Worcester employees will be required to be vaccinated against COVID or get regular tests.
