On Wednesday at the U.S. District Court in Boston, Cecilio Guzman, 28, a Dominican National residing in Lawrence pleaded guilty to one count of distribution and possession with intent to distribute 40 grams or more of fentanyl.
In November 2019, Guzman arranged to sell 120 grams of fentanyl to a cooperating witness and met with this individual with the intention of selling him fentanyl.
Guzman was was subsequently arrested and charged by by complaint. At this time Guzman is in federal custody and U.S. District Court Judge Patti B. Saris scheduled sentencing for March 12, 2021.
