Worcester Police are investigating a murder/suicide that happened overnight on Huntington Ave.

Officers assigned to the Operations Division responded just before 1 a.m. to Huntington Ave. where they found two people who had been shot.

Worcester Police say that a 25-year-old male shot his 27-year old girlfriend then turned the gun on himself.

The male was pronounced deceased at the scene while his girlfriend, she was taken to an area hospital where she is in critical condition.
