Health officials announced 87 new coronavirus-related deaths in Massachusetts, bringing the death toll to 686 with 22,860 confirmed cases and on Friday, Gov. Charlie Baker said that statistical models indicate Massachusetts is “still on the upward slope.”
Additionally, Governor Charlie announced on Friday that COVID-19 testing sites at both Gillette Stadium and the Big E fairgrounds will begin testing grocery store workers.
The Governor has also authorized 3,000 more military personnel of the Massachusetts National Guard.
